Title: Community Impact & Advocacy Intern (1 - 12 Weeks, Can be Extended)
Mode: On-site (Clusters, Schools, Field Visits) + Remote (as assigned)

As a Community Impact & Advocacy Intern, you will contribute to grassroots development, legal empowerment, education access, and rights advocacy for women and children. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn, lead, and contribute meaningfully to social change. Interns are encouraged to take initiative, work independently, and coordinate with team leads. You will be provided weekly guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities (flexibly assigned week-wise):
Week 1 – Orientation & Research
Attend induction session (online/offline)
Review past surveys, reports, field studies
Understand Jivanamasteya’s programs and clusters
Research on relevant social and legal issues
Week 2-4 – Community-Based Activities
Visit partner schools and local clusters
Facilitate educational, recreational & empowerment sessions
Assist with documentation, media capture (photos/videos)
Conduct outreach, engage with children and women
Week 5-6 – Advocacy, Rights & Legal Support
Participate in human rights field visits
Help in legal aid awareness and documentation
Draft short reports, assist in legal forms (under guidance)
Coordinate with government departments and officers (if required)
Week 7-8 – Campaigns, Blogs, Documentation
Write articles, stories, and blog drafts
Conduct digital/social media advocacy campaigns
Help with cluster reports, beneficiary stories
Support workshop/event execution
Key Skills & Traits
Passion for human rights and social justice
Independent, responsible, and self-organized
Good communication and basic writing skills
Willingness to learn from ground realities
Familiar with Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
Additional remote work, research projects, or legal assistance may be assigned based on performance and availability.

Certification Criteria:
Minimum 80% task completion
Original work with real-life applicability
Submission of final report + toolkit
Timely weekly submissions
